Dakota Ultrasonics are based near Santa Cruz, California and manufacture high quality, industrial ultrasonic testing equipment for petrochemical, aerospace, power generation, automotive and other related industries.

Dakota's ultrasonic thickness gauges are some of the toughest in the world, with gasket sealed aluminium housings and warranty periods of up to 5 years. Their wide range of NDT units offers everything from the most basic single velocity gauge to highly accurate, data logging, multi-mode, material and coating thickness models with live visual displays. For specialised subsea applications, the Dakota UMX-2 is a high-spec submersible gauge designed for offshore inspections at depths of up to 300m.

Dakota also provide a range of highly accurate flaw and pit detection equipment along with bolt tension monitoring devices.
