The Dakota ZX3 ultrasonic thickness gauge offers the perfect combination of versatility and ease of use.
The ZX3 provides flexibility and saves valuable time in the field when testing different materials. Calibration can be manually set to a known material velocity or thickness, or to one of eight common material types stored on the gauge (aluminium, cast iron, plexiglass, polystyrene, polyurethane, PVC, stainless steel and steel).
A high speed scanning mode displays the minimum thickness measured over larger test areas. Adjustable gain / amplification increases accuracy when testing noisy, granular or difficult to penetrate materials. The probe diameter can also be adjusted to increase linearity and reading accuracy.
Fast, accurate measurements to 0.01mm give you reliable test results. A rugged, water resistant, sealed aluminium casing means the ZX3 is built to withstand everyday use in heavy duty, industrial workplaces.
